Egypt is an incredible place. There are few lands with more history, intrigue and mystery than Egypt. From the pyramids to the sphinx, the mysteries and interest in the incredible historic land is boundless and impossible to truly encapsulate in words.
This is where pictures come into play, and luckily, we’ve all been given new images thanks to the Jocelyn. She took a trip to Egypt and managed to capture imagery that will be sure to make even those who are the most indifferent to travel change their tune, book their flight and hop on board toward an adventure that could completely and radically modify their feeling towards not only Egypt, but adventure itself.
Egypt has some of the most iconic and incredible sights in the history of mankind to behold. There are the pyramids, whose origins and histories are still debated as archaeologists and historians still go back and forth over how they were able to construct such incredible pieces of architecture with the technology that is believed to have existed during that timeline. Not only are there pyramids, there are also temples that manage to rival the Taj Mahal in grandeur, scale and jaw-dropping beauty. The Sphinx will simply take a person’s breath away, especially when they’re walking through the desert, feeling the heat upon their skin and taking in the view first hand. It’s been said that a person is never the same after they have gazed upon these wonders in person as they’ll forever be affected by the awe that was inspired during their travels through the wonderments.
Egypt isn’t only a trip for those looking to step back in time in wonderment and disbelief. The modern amenities of Egypt’s incredible beach resorts like Dahab and Hurghada will make people wonder why they’ve always been so prone to travelling to Cancun in the past. These resorts will put you right by the water as you gaze out into the beautiful sights and feel the heat seeping into your bones and giving a renaissance of emotion to even the most hardened person. One can even take a cruise down the historic, fabled and incredible River Nile, which is one of the longest rivers in the entire world. There are traditional sailboats that can make a person feel connected to the past as well as modern luxurious ships that rival any cruise one could ever take.
The food that can be eaten in Egypt cannot be understated as well, as there are incredible local delicacies that are impossible to find in other parts of the world, yet can be eaten near the resorts, on the incredible ships, and in tiny villages you’ll never forget your trip to. A breakfast of Ful Medammes coupled with Falafel cooked in such a perfect way can never be overstated and will leave a person yearning for more as they eventually make their way back home where they’ll find no Egyptian restaurant does it justice. A Koshari lunch in Egypt is indescribable as the macaroni, rice, lentils, and chickpeas compliment one another in such a way that it’s impossible to truly describe without actually getting to partake in the delicacy that’s topped with caramelized onions and the most incredible garlic sauce one could ask for.
